NY Pistol Carry Permit Certification Training
This 18-hour course is mandatory to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit in NYC and New York State.
For NY residents and non-residents, 18 hour course includes:
- 16 hours class time
- Learn gun safety, storage, and gun laws.
- Use and handling of firearms
- Fundamentals of marksmanship
- Conflict management and how to deescalate
- Best practices upon encountering deadly force
- 2 hours live fire training
- To obtain the CCW certificate. students will be required to:
Score 80% or higher on a written exam and complete fire training and shooting qualifications.
